BF Consulting and HEATSCOPE receive

We are very proud that our successful partnership with MHS Munich Home Systems GmbH is bearing its first fruits. Together we have developed a new generation of design infrared radiant heaters, which will be used primarily in the home and gastronomy sector.

The warming radiators have been known since 2013 under the proprietary brand HEATSCOPE® and enjoy great popularity worldwide among all those who appreciate unique design, but at the same time do not want to do without pleasant warmth. BF Consulting was not involved in the development of the first model series, but we were consulted extensively at the beginning of the technical planning for the second generation.

One of the two managing directors of MHS became aware of the BF Group when BF Engineering was named growth champion 2017 in FOCUS magazine. The local proximity in the south of Bavaria encouraged Lars Keussen and Helmut Haimerl to establish contact with BF and so they very quickly sat together at the same table.

Thanks to the combination of fresh academic knowledge and comprehensive engineering experience, all of the technical refinements of the new radiant heaters could be fully implemented and the desire for a smart and noble look could also be met. Thanks to the concave, heavily darkened SCHOTT® NEXTREMA® industrial ceramic glass on the front, the heaters emit almost no reddish light to the outside; only the generally invisible infrared radiation penetrates the front for the desired warming effect to the highest possible degree. In addition, the design-strong emitters are rainproof and the heat emission can be adjusted in several stages via external control. In addition to the clear and unique design by industrial designer Bjørn Blisse, these were the decisive criteria for winning the RedDot Design Award 2018 in the category of heating and air conditioning technology.

We are very proud that our cooperation and the numerous working meetings have paid off, but we are now facing the next challenge.

The inquiries for the new heaters are already in full swing. MHS has decided to have this new generation of radiant heaters produced in-house at BF. The son of the management, Dominik Breuer, is taking over responsibility for this and is setting up a production line that should produce the high-quality devices in the five-figure range as early as 2019.
