In close cooperation with RWTH Aachen University, a pressure vessel was built for the ISS, subjected to various tests and delivered for installation in the module.

On Dec. 02, 2019, the new UTTPS module was successfully mounted to the AMS (Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer for cosmic ray studies) in an outboard space mission. The first tests showed that the AMS is fully functional.

According to Prof. em. Dr. Klaus Lübelsmeyer, this is a great success for all involved.
